What Are You Struggling With In Retirement?

Everyone has a retirement story to tell, so what’s yours?
Stories about retirement are often kept in the dark and carried quietly.
But we want to bring them into the light.
Not the things that show up on a spreadsheet, but the questions that surface late at night like:
Will I have enough?
What’s going to happen tomorrow?
What’s my purpose moving forward?
Because at PKAG, we hear these thoughts often.
And we know many people carry these unanswered questions quietly on their back, without always knowing where to put them.
Next year, we want to have more conversations with our community by listening first.
And we are starting with something important:
What feels uncertain or heavy when you think about retirement right now?
If this question resonates and you would like to put it into words, we invite you to share it with us privately, at your own pace.
You don’t need to explain all the details.
You don’t need to have it all figured out.
You don’t need to share anything publicly.
You just have to be honest with yourself first.
No names required. No specifics needed. A sentence is enough.
We encourage a story, a summary, or a reflection, whatever feels natural to you.
It could be a couple pages or a sentence, because truth does not have a specific length.
You can email your retirement story to jordan@morethanmoney.ca, knowing it will be read with care.
While we may not respond individually, what we hear helps shape the conversations we bring to More Than Money.
We will read everything you send.
Sometimes the most important step isn’t solving the question.
It’s realizing you’re not the only one asking it.
Happy holidays!
